Welcome to the Alliance
Welcome to the Alliance for Mental Health Consumers' Rights of San Antonio, Texas. We offer peer-to-peer support groups, advocacy programs, outreach programs, and education programs for those persons with mental illnesses in San Antonio and Bexar County, Texas. In addition, we provide educational programs and special events to increase public awareness and end misconceptions about mental illnesses and those persons suffering from them.
We are part of the Texas Mental Health Consumers network, which is composed of groups similar to ours throughout Texas. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or comments.
Special Announcements
Our next general meeting will be Thursday, August 14th, at 1:00 p.m. at 5802 S. Presa, combined with the Board of Directors' Meeting. Everyone, especially persons interested in becoming a part of our Board or Advisory Board, are urged to attend. Free lunch for all who attend.
Be sure to attend the Bexar County Consumer and Family Support Conference at the Tropicana Hotel Thursday, August 7th through Saturday, August 9th. For more information, contact the Center for Health Care Services at (210) 731-1300. This event is FREE for consumers.
